are you gasket matching the maniflolds and heads? HP 340 manifolds outflow the 318's by about 30% had them cheched on my build recently......not many headers outflow the 340's due to their unique design....think about it.......and what you want out of the motor

just a sugestion if you are having a custom mandrel bent system fabricated have them make the x pipe at the crossover by cutting obround holes welding around putting both pipes together ....you can conrol the oopenings and the flow by hole size and also save yourself the x pipe cost.

just a sugestion put on a set of 340 HP manifolds from 69 thru 71...you willl be extremely surprized.....they flow exceptionaly well

cool sound of the pipes man when are you coming to my town ......would love a ride in that bb mopar good luck real cool must of been a challenge putting that bb in an abody..

these do not flow near as well as th HP 340's have a custom exhaust shop fit you up there will be more control of t he system and options for you..
