no way to know without having it checked but yes is is done, and they are quite usable, as long as the walls are thick enough, you can bore a 318 out to a 340, and it will run just as good as a factory 340, for a lot less money

So am I dealing w an *** clown or what?

WOW that was one hell of a sales pitch! Well he is correct on the hardened valve seats, if they are not done correctly they will not stay seated in the head, and he is also correct about flow numbers, if nothing else is done properly the flow numbers are not important on an engine that won't...

only a few things you need to be aware of early A-bodies (like your 65) use a 122 tooth flywheel 5.9 MAGNUM'S use a 143 tooth flywheel you will need to convert to a late A-body 130 tooth flywheel this will require a later bellhousing and adapter or modified Z-bar...

360 heads on a 318. will it work?

how low can you go? compression wise that is 318's left the factory as low compression workhorse's with small chamber heads they are only 8:1 - 8.5:1 if you put large chamber 340 or 360 heads on one you will lower the already minimal compression possibly down into the 7's, great for cheap gas...

    junkyard 360 magnum? big block?

magnum's use a bearing in the register that the torque converter fits in instead of a bushing for manual trans applications problem is the crank may not be drilled deep enough for the input shaft of an A-833, so you will need to check that, you can however use the late style bearing with the...
