My knowledge is from working at a Dodge dealership from 1990 until 2009. In that time I have seen the shop manuals incorrect many times. Seeing the pic you posted for the 5.9 is odd saying it had a 1.88 int valve. So, I went online to several factory dodge parts sites and looked up the 1996 5.2...
You are correct. 92 and up 5.2 and 93 and up 5.9 use the same heads. 1.92 intake and 1.62 exhaust.
The 5.2 does have different lift and duration than 5.9, but the heads are the same between them.
The heads were the same between the 5.2/5.9 magnum, so the templates would be the same.
If you have non magnum heads the use the rocker shaft, you can't use the magnum rockers, they are pedestal mounted.
I didn't know this. I haven't used him. Most of the people on that forum seem to like his tunes. Only reason I suggested him. I have SDS stand alone efi on mine.
Not sure if there is anyone on this sight that can do this. I'm sure someone will chime in if there is. I know you can contact "hemifever" on the Dakota durango forum. This is what he does. I don't know of any way to tune them yourself though.
