    I'm wondering when this comes out, and the results are promising, If one of the intake company's will try to design one after the fact! I have seen this intake in person at Carlisle. It looks like a good design. I'm really hoping for good results!

    I wouldn't hesitate to put 3 inch on it. I have dual 3 inch on the 5.2 in my Dakota. It's a low compression mild cam. 8.86 to 1, 210/[email protected]. 3800 lbs and ran 13.27.

    I've read that the XV intake loses a lot of bottom and mid range torque. Especially compared to the factory 5.7/6.1 intakes.

    I don't think the price is that bad considering a rebuilt box from Firm Feel is $359. If you don't have a core to turn in it's an another $175.

    I had just read a write up on these a few days ago. I was wondering if it would clear a 3g Hemi also. This is good to hear. I have a 70 Dart I want to swap a hemi into but want to retain p/s also, but not with the expense of the alterkation setup.

    New Hemi Security

    The VIN # should be programmed in the ECU. We used to have to program the VIN # when we replaced them when I worked at the Dealer.
