What are the real aesthetic and physical differences between these two? Rumor has it the 05-09 has a deeper BS (which I would think is better with an AlterK on an A body) and the 99-05 has a more "peaky" spoke with more of a ridge. Anyone know the truth here?

BUMP - I'm really hoping someone posts some pics of their 68 - 69 Dart with this 17" Year One Rallye setup. At first I wasn't at all fond of these, but they have really grown on me! Who's going to try it first? (I can't because the front BS is too small with the AlterK setup)

Since this goes along with the OP's question I'll ask mine differently. Is anyone out there running a 17" wheel up front on an Abody with an Alterkation and NOT using the 17 x 8 with 5.72 backspace of the Mustang Bullit wheels? If so what size are you running? Personally I think 7" or 8"...

The issue as I understand it is that you can only go "out" 2.5" on an A-body with an Alterkation because you'll hit the fender. http://www.reillymotorsports.com/alterktiontech.shtml From the RMS page, Abody Joe, other members etc the Mustang Bullit 17 x 8 with 5.72" BS will fit perfectly...

The way I read RMS's tech page I don't think any of the 17" slotted mags will work on the front with the alterkation. Not enough backspace - will stick out too far. I'm currently deciding on wheels tires as well and I have an alterkation up front.
