Thinking of running these on the 69 Dart. Mustang Bullits - 17x8 up front and 17x9 out back. AlterK up front and thinking 225/40/17. Will run a 275/40/17 out back with the SS spring setup. 540 stroker. This car is made for a straight line but hopefully will handle and brake well now - Wilwood's all around.
Looking to spend less than $250 per tire, OK with sumer only, mostly concerned with straight line traction, and want to not die in light rain.
Anyone running these or have other thoughts? Was also looking at the Continental Extreme Contacts.
To keep the old school look I'd love to run a Hoosier out back with the big chalk looking white letters, but to start I think I'll run something that will be OK in anything wet.
You can't compare the MT Street Comp to anything on Tirerack - curious how the MT would fare against these.
