Cars you always wanted, but never admitted to...

RaniDart70, I just picked up my second Dart this month. A 2015 GT with a 2.4/6spd manual. I agree I wish there was a 2dr option, but I am enjoying the new Dart immensely. It has everything the Avenger had, sans the power if the Pentastar 3.6. I'm hoping I can pull another 100 HP with...

    Let's hear it! my build.

I'd be interested in that as well, TMM. I have a numbers 318 for my Demon, and having that under my hood, albeit with a different crank, would be awesome. I would even forgo my 5.9 magnum for such a beast. j

    Trailers are worthless

Just out of curiosity, what happened that drove you from trailers? I picked up a 40' Alpha Gold 5th wheel trailer thinking I might be able to later on convert it into an enclosed car hauler/travel trailer. I love the idea of loading up my car into my home and trotting off to a car show, or...

Chrysler brings back the Dodge Dart

I was just about to bring this up. What I really hope for is not another chevy/Toyota hybrid (a remember the '87 Nova?)? I would hope they consider a two door fir the performance crowd as I can't stand 4 doors...its the biggest reason I wont buy a new Dodge truck. No extended cab...only...

    Paint scheme

I voted green/grey. One thing to consider when chosing black is you HAVE to have a perfect body. Black, while showing every spec of dirt, also shows EVERY flaw in the body. Something to conisder... Good luck!

    Not an A-Body, but...

Once again, weather permitting, I will get some pix of the truck this weekend. I'm HOPING for some mild to warm temps, as I'd like to get the bumpers repainted this weekend. I got self etching primer, primer/filler and some semi gloss paint to get the bumpers done. I'd also like to get my...

I got a new truck! :D The better half got a big fat income tax refund and bought me a 1998 Dakota Sport Club Cab, 4X4, 5.2 ( 318 for us old school people :D ) Auto. It's red with the grey interior. Bucket seats and a console. I'm already looking at what I can do to modifiy it :D...

    Rant~

I am thinking of using my 68 Dart as a stepping stone to get my Duster done. it will be faster to just do the Duster, but I think it would be fun to have the Dart as well. I am also thinking of selling the Dart. I don't really need it, and it is just sitting. It could go to a good home...

    What is a 383 worth?

$20. Give me your email address, and I'll paypal it to you :D Like said above, it kinda depends on what it came from, and the condition of the motor. You might luck into a motor that a numbers junky needs for his 70 E-Body and might be willing to give you his house for :bootysha: It'll...

What do you pull your cars with?

They told me the combined weight of the trailer and the 68 Dart was too much for the '72 1/2 ton. I told them they were nuts, but that didn't help the situation at all. Once we get the new garage built, I hope to have enough space behind to store a trailer. Then I'll have my own, and no one...

What do you pull your cars with?

I have a '72 Dodge 1/2 ton with a 318 that I was considering using to pull my car around with. Only problem is, I don't have a trailer. U-Haul says my truck doesn't weigh enough to rent a trailer to pull my Duster/Dart. I have seen others using a Dakota to pull cars, even a B-Body ( in the...

    Duster & Dart Sport Registry

How soon do you plan on having the new site up? That could be what is holding people back. Is this just for 340/360 cars? I can send you my Dusters info tomorrow as soon as I check out my fender tag. It's not a 340 car, but it has a 340 till I get my stroker built. j

    Anybody consider a V6 swap?

I was thinking more along the lines of a RWD V6, like the 3.9, or even the newer 3.7 with the OD trans. I would follow this rather intently, as I haven't made up my mind yet. I imagine it would probably cost just as much as a late model V8 so maybe it is just a moot point... The car was a /6...

    Anybody consider a V6 swap?

I stand here looking at the '68 Dart in my garage, and I am thinking to myself, how hard would a late model V6 swap be? I see more and more, the late model Hemi going into the older iron. Why would a V6 be harder? In general, from all those that have done a late V8 swap, what are some of...

    Sb/bb/...bb???

The obvious answer is no. But, the Dart, and the early Barracuda did. The only difference is, a single year. The 72 ( ? ) and up E Body didn't come with a big block either, but you see them in there all the time. I'll never understand the mentality of if the factory didn't do it, it...
