2.76’s came in 8 3/4s. My barracuda came with a2.76 peg leg,but I did swap it out for the 3.23 sure-grip I had. I do like the 3.23 better the 2.76 was just too long legged, great if you want to do alot of freeway flying. this is with 26” tires

I think 2 of the rods should already have a hole in them, the kickdown rod@ the trans lever is the one that uses the clip that snap over the rod and lever, that will require a hole drilled for the hair pin style clip

will that work in a '67 abody w/ console?

I had to do the same on mine just double nut it, run the first nut on there finger tite then snug the second one to that one.

I'm pretty sure they are 7/16-14. the stud is 7/16-14 on the end the goes into the trans and the other end with the nut is a fine thread 7/16-20

That looks to be a unique trans., starter on the passenger side?
