    I had that set back in the day but life happened and never used them and finally sold them But not the extensions. I found 14 of the 16 1 7/8” pieces in my stash, tomorrow I’ll check for the other two and snap a photo.

    Jegs has a nice aluminum gasket with the right size ports for 340/360 JEGS 212455: Aluminum Exhaust Manifold Gaskets for Small Block Chrysler 273-360 Rectangular Ports - JEGS High Performance The port sizes on the proform gaskets are 273/318 size.

    Have you tried installing the tailpipe first and working your way forward to see how things line up? May be easier to make an adjustment in the mid pipe or the angle of the muffler

    Looks like with a manual the down pipe runs lower to clear the clutch linkage. This is with 68 manifolds also there’s no room for a quick ratio arm

    Joe, your down pipe looks further outboard then mine. I’m running a 4sp with H pipe, might be a little different. I’ll take some pics today.

    67 Cuda 360 here’s a couple of shots. Filter points to the rear and slightly downward. BTW which starter are you using? I have the old heavy weight but wondering if the mini will fit?

    yes the pipes should run parallel and close to the drive shaft with the muff offset towards the center of the car

    Thanks for the tip:thumbup: I'll do that before I any miles on them. I will second what JBC said the sound with and without extentions. I've run mine straight open and now with the turn downs they are less harsh. just a smoother sound than without.

    I like the position of the one on the left, I wish I could get the other to that spot. I had to drill new holes in the flange on the rite side to even get to that position. I couldn't rotate it any higher due to the frame connector on that side. the exhaust is closer to the connector on the rite...

    You're not much older than I am. But then again I ride a Harley too so I like the noise:burnout: and I'll be 63 before the end of this year.:glasses7: BTW my health is good just not my hearing:D

    I went with the Summit brand partly because i had a $70 gift cert. and the reviews were pretty good. I've only had them a week so I can't speak to longevity. Also I'm running 2 1/2" exhaust and you're running 3" so I wouldn't guarantee a .2 improvement, but the fun factor is worth it...

    Can you run your car with the headers open one time? that will tell you if you will see an improvement. other wise your just doing it for the sound, which i think is cool. I'm running a 416 with 1 3/4 hookers thru 2 1/2pipes w/H and Dynomax super turbos dumped at the axle. I installed 3" manual...
