    Headers, TTI or Doug’s?

I guess I’ve been a little careless in my scrolling and hit the disagree button by mistake and not noticed. Sorry for any confusion-no disagreement here

    Doug's or TTI headers

Thanks for the pics. I was curious about the area btw the t-bar & frame, i think a pipe goes thru there. Here’s some shots of where I’m at

    Doug's or TTI headers

That's exactly what I'm in the process of doing but I don't have the headers yet so I was looking for some pics of 66durgederp's rerouted lines to clear the headers. And don't call me Shirley!

    Doug's or TTI headers

I'm with ya on that. The next decision is coated or uncoated. it's cheaper to buy them coated then to have it done afterwards as long as there are no mods needed to make them fit. and if I'm going to do a trial fit the doug's probobly go in and out alot easier....food for thought,.....I'm still...

    Doug's or TTI headers

    If my research is correct Doug's 63-66 a-body-slip tubes, 2 3/4' collector. 67 & up no slip tubes, 3" collector TTi- 63-66 no slip tubes, 3" collector, 67 & up # 7 slip tube, 3" collector.

    Doug's or TTI headers

I'm going thru the same dilemma for my 64 Dart. Doug's are a bit cheaper if you can get the AZ 20% off deal but the smaller collector and slip tubes bother me. I had hookers on my 68 and never could get the slip tubes to completely seal. they do make for an easier install though. The TTI's...

6 pack air cleaner in an early A?

By how much? would it possible to get a measurement from the rear air cleaner stud to the hood bars of firewall? I do plan on a torque bar/engine strap on mine also. Another q, does it fit under the hood? thanks, Gary.

6 pack air cleaner in an early A?

] I like Dartmans idea of using gas struts if I have to. The AC assy i have is the AAR/TA one that Rustycowl described, I'll try and get a pic today. 72 Dart, does that one fit?

6 pack air cleaner in an early A?

Guys I'm working on a 64 Dart(currently /6) that I'm putting in a 340 with a 6pack. I'm wondering if the stock T/A air cleaner will fit in the car. It looks like the hood torsion bars might inerfer. Does anyone have the setup in an early A? Or can you give me a dimension from the rear carb stud...

Thanks for the link, that help give me some more ideas I'll try some pb blaster. I hate to buy the tool just to remove 2 wiper arms, they're not going back on, I may have a battery post puller that looks like it might help. I'll look again for the tang.

    windshield wiper removal

All right guys what's the secret to removing the windshield wiper arms. this is on a 64 dart. I removed the nut on the end but the arms won't budge. Sprayed a little wd-40 and tried prying upward with a 3/8" open end wrench but no luck. Am I missing something or do I just cut them off? Help...
