took out cluster and made my own,now nothing works

It would need to be grounded. Are you testing it with the cluster out of the dash? Try running a ground from the cluster edge to the dash. IIRC, there is a ground wire also on the switch itself? Or that may have just been my new switch for the plastic cluster I used. C

    Interior lights short?

It does sound like you have it wired backwards. I couldn't follow through your description exactly, but it sounds like you have sent power (positive) to the door jamb switches? The yellow wires to the door jamb switches is a negative. When the door opens, the switch pops out to touch the body...

    Tail light fuse blowing

I can't address your problem specifically, but IIRC - someone else had pretty much this identical problem 2-3 weeks ago. Might find something on it with a search. C Here is the link:http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=294784&highlight=fuse Perhaps not the identical problem...

my turn light is my arm

I know this is stupid, but you have checked to make sure you are putting the right size fuse in there, right? When did the problem start? Had you done any work on the car just beforehand - maybe installing carpet or something where you may have damaged the wiring with a screw? C

did some welding now no start condition.

Have you checked your battery connection? Did you clean it before hooking the ground back up? I did some work on my pickup a couple weeks ago and only did a half-*** job of hooking it back up and it acted this same way. When I checked it, it was so loose I could take it right off. C

    Simple re-wiring

I used a Ron Francis kit. While it was a straight forward job, and simple to think "I just run this wire from the fuse panel to..." I don't know that simple describes it. It was pretty time consuming. I added relays into the headlight harness. I also changed to electronic ignition in the...
