Thanks for all the responses here. I haven't had time to try to fix this. My tenant moved out and I'm readying the apartment for a new tenant. Hopefully I can pull the switch over the weekend. I'll post my findings then.

I have a 72 Swinger with factory air. The 3 speed blower motor switch only works on 2 settings. High is non existent. Are they available for sale somewhere new? I'd really like to have it working correctly. Thanks, Frank

Thanks Joe. I appreciate that link more than you know. I'm downloading it right now. I forgot you had links to FSMs. I downloaded some of them on my old computer but lost them all because I didn't backup my computer. When a hard drive craps the bed you lose a lot of important stuff.

Heat and defrost work as they should. I just can't get it to blow out of the air conditioning vents.

It's a 72 Swinger and I don't have a FSM. The heater control valve is shot, so for now I put a ball valve under the hood to keep the coolant out of the heater box. The air works but it only blows out of the floor vents.

When I put my air on the heat stays on too. I get nothing out of the air conditioner vents but I do get air out of the floor vents. Any ideas on fixing this would be appreciated. Thanks, Frank

My radiatore dimensions are as follows. Approx. 18 1/4' wide by approx. 22" high. That does not include the mounting brackets. It came out of my 75 Scamp and is for an automatic trans.

Just bought a mister gasket thermostat for my 75 slant 6. I tried to install it and it won't fit. I placed it with the pill facing the engine but it is too large for the hole in the engine. What gives? It is the right part number. Any ideas? Thanks, Frank
