I’ve installed a gear venders in a bb abody and it didn’t require any modifications. You will need to shorten the driveshaft that’s it. It’s been in the car for 6 years now with no problems.

I agree that sounds high for that rear end. I just sold one with 391 gears,sure grip,moser axles and willwood disc breaks. Had maybe 500 miles on it for 1500 bucks.

Nice looking setup. Are you using a fuel cell? Just asking because with mine I found out that rear cover won't fit with a stock tank.

I use a blanket. They are fairly easy to install. I would recommend using a good trans cooler.

I have the same dip stick. It will not fit. As you said the peice that bolts to the trans is to long. I ended up cutting and welding pieces to make it work. In the end it looks and works great but was a pita.

I have one and like it. No problem with it so far(4 years).

I have mine on the side of the pan.

I didn't think you could buy 373 's for a 8.75. I think 3.55 is your next choice.

I use the lokar linkage on my cuda. Easy to install and works great. Everything you need comes in the kit. Properly the cheapest place to buy around here is mopac in langley.

You can hook them up on both sides but only the passenger side is right.

Are the trans lines hooked up on the right side of the trans? My buddy hooked his up on the other side and that is what his did also.

I'd check with strange or moser on a complete new rear end first. Time you buy your junkyard rear and have it cut down and new ends welded on and buy new axles and suregrip and have it put together your probably not to far off the cost of a new S60. Just my 2 cents.

I have that trans behind my 499 stroker. Has about 75 quarter mile passes and 2 k street miles on it. No problems so far. Must of just got lucky.

Is it a race car or street? Or both.? I use a TCI built 727 behind my 499 stroker and have had no problems. Street driven when nice and has about 70 quarter mile passes on it. Has a 3500 stall and 373 rear. 1.56 sec 60 ft and high 10's at 121 mph.

Unless the converter sprung a leak, (I doubt that) it has to be the seal.

You can also have the old axles drilled and tapped for threaded studs.

BP27 is right. If you are going to go bigger and have a driveshaft made, the 1350 is bullet proof.

gdonovan your right the reverse rod is smaller. Contact Bewers performance and they will hook you up with the proper rods.
