Anyone running billet specialties street lites?...question.

Very, very nice. I've got the weld draglites right now with the open hole long shank lugs nuts/ washers. Wondering if they will fit or. I will need shorter ones since the welds have a pretty meaty center section. Those wheels look really sharp on,your cuda. I'm looking at the wheels with the...

Anyone running billet specialties street lites?...question.

I'm looking at these wheels but I don't see anywhere in their information wether or not the bolt holes will support 1/2" stud. Nowhere do they mention what stud sizes they offer at all. If they don't do a 1/2" stud I probably won't get them.

    Tired tires

okay AX, I was wayyyy the hell off on my numbers. I have 205/65/15's on the front. My tread width is 6.5"' and the sidewall to sidewall measurement is 7.5". I could have went with a taller tire but I wanted to keep it fairly low profile for better cornering....yeah like these cars were made...

    Tired tires

Ax, I had the same exact problem with flat spots, and skinnnies. I had the WV tires like a body joe had but I developed flat spots. I got the widest tire that they could fit on my rim from NTB tire, and they sold me a set of Fiske radials. I think they are 225r15 but I will have to check...

New wheels and tires arrived today.

Man, they do look good. I always thought those wheels looked good in the magazines but was not sure how they looked on the car. Pretty sweet! Hey USCG, Check your pm, I have a question.

Got some fatter tires for the front.

Thanks! I always thought it would look dumb with wider tires since I was so used to the skinny's but now that I see how good it looks I am more and more entertaining the idea of wider, lower profile wheels/tires some day possibly on 17's. I would also like to do a big brake system mod, even...

Got some fatter tires for the front.

According to the tire guy this was the widest tire I could fit on a 5 inch wide rim, but he could be wrong, dunno.

Got some fatter tires for the front.

Yeah, I did not try to set any land/speed records and just eased it through the apex of the turns without getting all Mario Andretti about it.

Got some fatter tires for the front.

Oh, I guess I should have mentioned that. I went from 165/R15's to 205/ 65/ 15. The new tires are 1.5 inches wider and .08 inch shorter according to the salesman.

Got some fatter tires for the front.

yes, they will stay full time but eventually I want to do a wheel change and possibly go wider. I like the look better too.

Got some fatter tires for the front.

I thought I better get some fatter tires for the mountain cruise I was going on the next day. Good move because I really needed all the traction I could get in those hairpin turns, and the extra 1.5 inches really made a difference. Here's a pic a guy in the car club snapped while my buddy and I...

What M/T tire is this ?

My M/T sportsman pros would hydroplane at 10 mph in heavy rain.

What M/T tire is this ?

Look up M/T- E/T street tires. Basically DOT approved street slicks with lines cut in the tread......suck bad in the rain though. I am running M/T S/R radials, still soft yet great in the rain.

    Mickey Thompson Tires "Suck"

I've had sportsman pros, no tubed, good seal, no problem other than sucked in the rain. I now have M/T SR radials, much better ride on the street and no more scary situations in the rain. Have you thought about taking it to a shop that can actually shave the tires perfectly round? I know a...

Can someone make this a sticky in this forum?

About two or three times a week, someone is asking what is the biggest wheel/tire combo that will fit their custom or stock application. Most posts will have someone referring them to get one of these suckers. When in doubt, get one of these suckers, it won't lie and could save you from...
