Could I put 73 rear duster bumper brackets on my 74 duster rear bumper (I have the bumper shocks)and use the 74 bumper? Thanks

Yes that was the thread I was looking at that and they were saying to cut the shock in half but I can't get the shock out to cut it 74 duster back bumper Thanks

How does the shock come out?

How do you remove the shock from the housing, drilled and drained the oil, have shaft in a vise and hammered the end of housing, also sprayed the housing with pb blaster and nothing, I can spin the shock in the housing but won't come out, any ideas? Thanks

I got some spray cans the color of the car (74 duster b5) and it didn't cover very well and at $25 per can I thought maybe a quart would be cheaper and better job?
