Buying used snap-on box Vrs new bigger china box

Buying off the "truck" is paying at least double. As said, ebay, craigs or sometimes yard sales have some stuff. Also if you are near a military base they have auctions on govliquidation.com May have to buy multiples though but an extra at home might be nice or sell to pay for what you need.

My home made welding cart made from scraps.

Not really scrap but well used at best. Drawers are good for storing body tools etc.

Made a five dollar tool to press LCA bushings in. Hose inside is 3/4 to protect threads and center bushing. Had to grind out half the threads to slip it over the shoulder of the bolt. Pipe is 1". "Hammer" heads could put a cap on the end and pound away.

My bad. I read "engine" in there and it wasn't. I have eight or ten of them and haven't broken one yet. Put two of the small ones under the Dart tires for fun to ckeck them out. Didn't break but only moved it a foot or so just for giggles. Did you have the 2x10 on the also? You did good. Was...

How I Made My Engine Dolly

Hate to chime in as a cheapie but I must. Harbor freight sells furniture dollies for about $15. All wheels pivot. Have several with engines on them. Pretty sturdy. Haven't put the pan 2x10's on them but you did give me an idea. Smaller ones are good for auto trannies on end. About $7/8 bucks...

what is the least expensive welder i can get away with ?

My vote is for the 110v miller. Go to the local welding supply store. Most have stores in several cities so do your homework. Not always the best price but you have a door to walk through if you should need help. Try to find wire made in the US. Restoration guy at Carlisle last year said china...

Holy Crap! I Actually Have A Shop!

Definately take pics of emptyness. Cleaned off my work bench couple of years ago. Took a pic. It appeared to have a spiritual glow above it in the pic. Scary. Only been clean that one time in the ten years it's been in there.
