    Help with Holley Street Avenger

Pishta--thanks. This baby is brand new! (Not that it could have gunk, though ...). Yeah, I love my widebands. I have that cool dual gauge with a sensor in each header collector.

    Help with Holley Street Avenger

No, I don't have a regulator, but I'm thinking I'm going to get me one. Idle screws: all four are approximately equal, and out about 3/4 of a turn. They're very sensitive! Or, at least, some of them are. The front drivers side screw seems to not have much effect. Is that a clue?? What I've...

    Help with Holley Street Avenger

Good afternoon fellow A-Body fans, I'm having a devil of a time dialing in my new Holley Street Avenger 4160 770 cfm carb. It's on a '71 Dart; 408 (360 stroker, LA), 0.480", 274 deg, hyd flat tap, headers, 3" X-pipes, O2 in each collector; 4 speed, 3.55 gears. It pulls 17.0" vac at idle (900...

    Quick Fuel goes intermittently lean

Cringing, not gringing (whatever that is...).

    Quick Fuel goes intermittently lean

I've never touched the power valve. Do you think my symptoms point to some kind of blockage in that circuit?? I've been thinking some sort of blockage somewhere in the carb but not sure where to start looking. It's interesting to me that it's lean at idle AND at cruise, and I think it's lean at...

    Quick Fuel goes intermittently lean

And it runs lean from startup (cold, with choke on) to warm / operating temp. Thanks for any and all thoughts and suggestions.

    Quick Fuel goes intermittently lean

Yes, I've read those two articles--they're both great, and I have them bookmarked. What is so unusual about my issue is that it started immediately and out of the blue. One minute, fine and dandy (albeit a bit rich), and the next minute (and I think it was immediately following the "bucking"...

    Quick Fuel goes intermittently lean

My fuel pressure is good (mechanical). When it's in the lean "mode", it also just generally runs poorly and rough and uneven. But not horrible, just noticeably not good.

    Quick Fuel goes intermittently lean

Quick Fuel 780 SS on a 408 small block. The other day, the motor "bucked" when starting--not sure what happened; I may have released the key for a microsecond and then re-engaged the starter; maybe a tad to much initial timing--and ever since then my carb's been very lean but only...

    New Quick Fuel carb

Thanks guys. I think I'll go with the Summit combo (adjustable lines + gauge + filter) for now, just to get me running. If I purchase a braided fuel line kit, with fittings to be added by me, can I attach the fittings without special tools??

    New Quick Fuel carb

Hello all, just now getting around to installing my new Quick Fuel SS780 VS carb. Looking for a good fuel line kit. Pre-Magnum 360 small block, edelbrok performer intake, std mechanical fuel pump. Looking for fuel lines, filter, gauge. Should I go adjustable? I think ithe carb has inverted...
