So there still is USA made blanks.

Clay Smith claims his blanks are USA made. Personally I am not educated in any of this, so who knows who’s right He also says he can cut a 68 cam if you have the specs

I have a 273 with 302 and intake that the heads and intake are acid ported. The car ran in stock eliminator. The ports look factory. The motor was in a 66 Valuant

Your heads have great numbers. I am sure more engines guys will chime in.

I think a stock X head flows around 180-190 on intake side.

One question Are these cast cranks internally balanced or externally? I would think if you are balancing the crank in house they would be internally balanced. Everyone seems to be very happy with this motors.

I was going to say .035 hole. I think some new solid liters feed oil to the bearing now, so you need the hole.

302 heads set up for stock eliminater. Acid wash porting (I forget what’s actually called).

I believe most of my motors are 0020 to .0025 I have to double check paper work

If you have a motor with tight bearing clearance. I don't think you want to run thicker oil like 20w50 I was just wounding the 10w30 oil. What clearance your bearing should be? I see people set up motors from .0015 to .0030. Just wondering if you are on the tight side or if you are the loser...

What about bearing clearance? 10/30 would be around what clearance?
