Ok, Since there is so much confusion on this subject I am posting 3 pictures of the drive shaft I need...45" from u-joint center to center, taper at both ends..........Hopefully this should clear up ANY and all questions........................maybe..

I can see now a picture is going to be needed...................

It needs to be 45" center of rear u-joint to center of front joint...I don't need the slip yoke but if yours is still attached that's ok....must not be bent..if there is any crease in the tube at all it is bent....I already have that!

Need an original un-modified, not bent drive shaft for a 72 340 Duster 727 Auto, 8 3/4....need not have the joints installed since it will be rebuilt & balanced...Thanks

I am replacing one a friend gave me a while back and it is going in a correct restored car so it needs to be original....
