consider having your grille and headlight bezels glass blasted on as low of pressure as possible to remove the adonization then start working out dents glass blast again and have it chrome powder coated looks pretty that way and easy to maintain

Great job BUT IMO with all the fine work your doing you should have changed the rear to a Dart or earlier Scamp rear with the lights in the bumper and also change the front clip that's what I did to my 74 no picture of the rear but here's the front - also get rid of the side lights -- keep up...

If anybody wants a nice big block setup and if I do not sell my 69 Valiant I MAY be parting ways with the setup this winter and go small block I have some plans for my Scamp and it involves some items off the Valiant but only time will tell as I type this I'm going through my inventory

Piece of advice from a 69 Valiant big block automatic and 74 Scamp (modified) A/C small block 4 speed OD owner DO NOT PUT IN A BIG BLOCK but do go with the 4 speed - 3:23 or 3:55 gears - power late model disc front - big b body drum rear get axles from Moser - front sway bar - big block torsion...

Correct no sand I blasted mine with glass and worked great of course at work we have a glass blaster big enough to put a door or fender in that we use for cleaning molds yes there is some finish work to be done but that would be needed no matter what

Not to hijack but yes aluminum you may consider having it chrome powder coated looks good and easy to take care of (bugs) but takes a lot of prep work have you ever seen the Valiant emblem on the grille and yes it's for the 69 grille -- keep up the good work

No need to change the torque converter unless you want more stall just buy an external balanced flex plate for a 727 or 904 and use the 360 balancer everything else is the same but not sure about the motor mounts...
