Thanks. It looks like there is not compatibility between the 67 and 68/69 headrests. Anyone have any idea if a non Mopar headrest may work on a 67 bucket? Or if the B body one was confirmed to work?
I looked at my 67 buckets and it looks/ feels like there are holes on the top for head rests. Can I use a 68/69 head rest on it? Sorry for posting on an old thread.
Hi I have the opportunity to get some 69 buckets with head rests for my 67 Barracuda. My question is can I use 1969 seat backs with head rest on the 67 seat base? The 69 backs have a latch and the 67's do not. I was also thinking of using dark green covers front and back and dark green door...
I like the look of the later door panels. Would it be a faux pa (?) to have 69 door panels in a 67? I figured since they are soft part no biggie. Anyone have pics of a 69 black deluxe interior in a barracuda fastback?
I borrowed one of the photos from moparmat2000 thread (hope that's ok). I want mount my upper mount just above and forward of the rear window handle so the belt and lower mount farter back (I'll try to do a line over this on the computer to make it more clear) does not show through the window...
Can you post a pic of the set up in your wife's car? Mine is a 67 so I don't think there is anything that is on the roof (I'd have to pull the headliner off to see).
I want to add 3 point retractable seat belts on my 67 cuda. I know this has been talked about but I have not seen any pictures of what I want to do. I am thinking of doing a mount like this. Does anyone have pictures of this type of mount in a pre-70 a body (Barracuda would be best)?
Can someone show their upper mounts? My 67 Barracuda has lap belts only with no upper mounts showing. I had a '76 duster years ago with 3 point belts so I have an idea where they should be. If I don't have a upper mount showing how do find out if there is a mounting point under the headliner. Do...
I want to get some ideas for what modern seats and shoulder belts work in A-bodies. I have seen here Sebring seats work well and add shoulder belts as well. Can you post your seat choices and how you may have added shoulder belts either in the seat or connected to the car.
So I have made the decision to go with a rebuilt stock radio. Now the big question is... does anyone have one for sale? I will put this in the wanted section but thought I would ask here first.
My dash has a bar between the part that shows the channel and the push buttons. It looks like the stereo does not have provision for this. Also, the push button portion is narrower than the "face" part.
This looks like a great unit but it would still require cutting my dash. So it's either under the seat or a refirbished origional unit. Thanks for all the help guys.
PACuda59- if you happen to remember the name of the vendor let me know please.
Great suggestions guys. I can do without the CD's and the head unit maud'dib15 suggested looks great. If I go with an under seat unit like this:

What do I do about the hole in the dash? Put an old AM in there? Cover it up? I saw a guy who...
I am looking to get a new stereo for my 1967 Barracuda. I would like to keep the dash intact with no cutting but get all the new stuff such and ipod control, blutooth, remote cd changer and possibly satellite radio. Is there such a system out there?
