    1965 Valiant (4-door) Seat options?

For those who don't like the look of Sebring seats (or cannot find them), here is a list of cars and trucks with SIRS (seat integrated restraint systems). The study you will pull up shows no statistical significance in injuries or fatalities using a SIRS car vs regular restraint systems in...

Anyone near Greeneville, TN for a scouting report?

Mebbe we can set something up. Am looking at a '63 Dart in Michigan, but I don't think it's as clean.

Anyone near Greeneville, TN for a scouting report?

Anyone near Greeneville, TN for a scouting report?

Hey, guys! Still looking to feed my early A addiction (in withdrawal since I stupidly sold my '64 Dart GT). I'm hoping someone here might be able to scout for me in the Tri-cities area of Tennessee. There's a sweet-looking '65 four door that looks like an amazing survivor. The guy says never...

Available for a car check in Emerson, NJ?

I'm wondering if any member in or near Emerson, New Jersey is available to check out an early A I've been salivating over for some time. Flight prices to NJ and NY are cheap enough, but I would love an advance word on this one. It's a '64 Dart four-door with a slant six in supposedly very, very...

Would you daily drive an early A?

I'm thinking about it. I put maybe only 5-7K miles on my DD. Typically short distances. I'm not kidding myself, I trust, about the safety issues. Even if I do a disc brake swap, dual MC, and four-point harnesses and scat procar seats (for the head rests), it simply won't be as safe as some...

Two A-body prospects: help me choose one

All good grist... From what I'm hearing from you, the Dart's better body and pristine interior make it a sounder buy than the Valiant (which already has the disc brakes, electronic ignition but needs some body and a lot of interior work). Think that makes it academic. Thanx!

Two A-body prospects: help me choose one

Thanks for your input! I guess I was really trying to find out whether you thought a nearly clean Valiant with mods done (mostly disc brakes and ignition), but needs seats and belts is better or worse than a pristine, no-rust Dart that needs all of those mods but is $1K less.

Two A-body prospects: help me choose one

Sorry! I lost part of my description cause of a bad copy/paste. Both are four-door sedans. The second one has a 225 Slant six. I slightly prefer Dart styling, but the Valiant has some hard work already done.

Two A-body prospects: help me choose one

Hey, guys! Still looking to heal the wound I got from unloading my '64 Dart GT last year. Possibility 1 '64 Valiant four-door. 273 V-8 with mild cam, 4 bbl, aluminum intake, dual exhaust. Tiny amount of wheel well rust. Underneath is clean as are floors. Pinholes in trunk. Interior needs a...

    Scat Procar

Yeah, but they list adapters only for '67-75 A-bodies. What did you use?

    Scat Procar

Thanks, Automan! I wonder if the floorpan dimensions of the early Darts and Valiants are similar enough to accomodate the Scat. Anyone with stories, I'd be grateful to hear.

    Scat Procar

Has anyone put Scat Procar seats (either 1300 or 1500 classic series) buckets in an A-body? How did it go? thx, Brian
