    Aluminum Radiator

I would not change a thing on your cooling setup if your car runs that cool in 95* weather. Looks to me like you have a good tune and cooling setup.

It will not fit. Only thing you can do is build one, unless you buy their shroud setup for an electric fan.

    Champion 26" Radiator Review

You might want to do some measuring before you buy. My 67 Dart came with a 22" but I managed to squeeze in the 26" B body radiator and had to cut out a section under the radiator to get it to sit low enough to close the hood. I know some of the earlier cars have even less space.

5/8" heater hose and can only find 1/2" fitting

After looking up some pictures of Darts with these intakes I have come to the conclusion that I will either have to run the hose over to the drivers side, drill and tap the passenger side fitting to a larger size or get a '70 and up heater core ( if it will fit ) to put in my '67 Dart.

5/8" heater hose and can only find 1/2" fitting

Their is a port on the drivers side of the intake that is larger but I can't see running the heater hose over the radiator hose to get there.

5/8" heater hose and can only find 1/2" fitting

My intake uses 1/4" NPT. That's the problem.

5/8" heater hose and can only find 1/2" fitting

This what I had to use. Which has the 1/2" hose end and is too small. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PRS-1061

5/8" heater hose and can only find 1/2" fitting

At the moment I am using the stainlees fitting. I have researched this a lot but can not find what I need.

5/8" heater hose and can only find 1/2" fitting

I need it to shrink. I have used the 5/8" hose on the 1/2" fitting and tightened the clamp real tight but sometimes it will have a small leak.

5/8" heater hose and can only find 1/2" fitting

My '67 Dart has a heater core with 5/8" tubes. The only fittings I can find to fit the intake are made for 1/2" hoses. Anyone else have this problem, are there 5/8" fittings out there? I have both a Six Pack and Edelbrock RPM and they both have the same size pipe fittng in them.

    360 is still running hot

Take fishy68's advice and get the total timing backed down a little. That will help more than you think. Sounds like you are getting closer. Good luck.

    68 340 water pump question

I personally would use the aluminum pump and get a different timing cover. Later model 318 340 360 share the same covers with the timing marks on the drivers side, they can be purchased cheap. Just put out a want ad here on FABO and you should have several members reply quickly. That can also be...

Another champion radiator chapter with pictures

Just an update on this thread since summer is here and it is hot as heck. It is 92* degrees here now and I just got back from a 1 hour ride, some through town with traffic and some on slow backroads with no traffic. It ran at 180* the whole time the car was moving. If I stopped in traffic, it...

Yours work good or not: HAYDEN FAN CLUTCH #2765

Yes it is. If you buy one there is a bushing in the box you will need to use to make the fan clutch fit tight on the waterpump.

On my 67 Dart I sat the radiator all the way down on the crossmember and the hood would not close, it hit the radiator cap.

Another champion radiator chapter with pictures

The 26" radiator is a little taller than the 22" unit. That's why I had to cut the lower cross brace. I didn't cut it all out, just what was need to clear the radiator. The 22" unit will bolt right in your car with no mods. If you have any other questions just ask.

Yours work good or not: HAYDEN FAN CLUTCH #2765

I have been thinking about using a solid mechanical fan if I can find the right one.

Yours work good or not: HAYDEN FAN CLUTCH #2765

The clutch fan definitly spins slower at idle.
  23. duster360

    Too DAMN hot already!!!

Now put a thermostat back in it and get the engine temp back up to 180*. It will burn the fuel more efficiently.

Yours work good or not: HAYDEN FAN CLUTCH #2765

I had cooling issues with my '67 Dart at one time and tried all sorts of combinations. Problem was solved once I got the radiator the car needed. About the fan clutch, Hayden #2765. Of those of you that have used it did it work well for your car? I put one on my car with a 7 blade '215 fan( A...

This 26" radiator is cooling like crazy. It is 83* and sunny here today. She runs right on 180*. Normally it would be at around 200* or better and worse when it gets 90*+. I don't have the shroud on it yet. This thing might be overkill, I might have gotten away with the 22" radiator. From what I...

Part # is CC374. If your car only gets to 190's I wouldn't sweat it. Mine would get a lot warmer than that is the only reason I switched.

This one is a 26" unit. It is nice and flat. I decided to go ahead and use it since I have had it so long I couldn't return it. It seems to be working pretty well so far.

Another champion radiator chapter with pictures

I thought this radiator would fit right in the car but I had to do a couple mods to make it fit. As for the mounting holes I only had to drill one on the lower drivers side. All other holes were already there from the factory. For what I don't know because nothing was mounted to them. Because of...

Another champion radiator chapter with pictures

I had the clutch fan on first. It is a 7 blade "215" fan. I could feel it pulling some air through the radiator. But when I put the 7 blade flexalite fan on I could really feel the air coming through, there was a lot of difference.
