Looks like a set of sticky tires would help with traction and the side effect would be more of that set you back in the seat feel you want. Plus still have your cruise gears.
I have seen a combo of a 537 hp 440 with a single plane intake on pump gas. I like the torque curve also. Tons of it way down low. Wondering how much the six pack would choke it down, or if it would at all at that power level. Here is a link to the article.

I am thinking about doing this 440 build at some point. Do the power numbers add up? Anyone have any experience with a similar build? I would most likely use adjustable rockers though. Maybe even one step smaller cam.
