    low key a/c?

dont know. i guess you could. id talk with the guys at bouchillon, or at classic auto air. you could hardline almost all of it and it would be a smaller diameter, and more easily hidden. in my case, the rubber lines fit the build style better. the whole mounting setup was trying and...

    low key a/c?

yes, i did. wound up refabbing the brackets and tensioner. now the belt only comes off if i bounce the rev limiter at 7k too much. regular driving, its fine. check out the build thread for how i finally solved the problem.

    Aftermarket Air 69 Dart 340-6pak

im going to check alignment with the belt tension on it. didnt do that before, and if the compressor is shifting when tensioned, that could be the problem. i was also thinking about my adjustor as well. i think im going to remake that to the front lower ear, and probably leave the rear one for...

    Aftermarket Air 69 Dart 340-6pak

it was initially doing that on my idler/adjustor, but i remade my mounts and its perfectly parallell now. im hoping the ps/alt belt was just on its last legs. its been on the car since i put the motor in in 2006. i think im going to have the ribs machined off the idler just in case, though...

    Aftermarket Air 69 Dart 340-6pak

im in the northern hemisphere. dunno why that would make a difference, though. motor would still turn the same way, right? i know the toilets flush the other direction down there, but.... anyway, heres a TON of pictures fo the final design, and the ensuing carnage. the first belt that...

    Aftermarket Air 69 Dart 340-6pak

ok, i tried setting mine up just like yours. its not working. the oly difference i can see is that your compressor mount bracket is slap up against your compressor ear, whereas mine has some space. i keep throwing compressor belts. well, keep turning them inside out and throwing them...

    really small AC compressor

anyone know what the smallest AC compressor i can find is? id like to do a low mount in my duster, down where the fuel pump used to be. ive looked at all the sanden coversion kits, but they all mount them at the top center of the engine. this is a small block 70 k-frame car. id also...
