Just a thought...if you have power brakes...the bigger the cam ...the less vacuum idling in gear which affects brakes.

I would suggest the comp 268 or the crane 272 powermax...the purple shaft needs a looser converter and more than 8.5 compression plus lower gears. Just remember too small is much better than too big on the street...and when cold weather hits...its even worse.

I had trouble also..with the chrome..finally surfaced it...and let it dry with sealant for about two days...so far so good.

.03 is fine...have checked many new cams that far off!

I really can't afford comp rockers at $440.00 My question is there a cheaper rocker assembly that is better than stock that is reliable for a street car? I will be running a comp hyd 268 xe. Also not sure what pushrods I need. Thanks
