How do you remove the gas filler tube ?

Bought a fuel cell and mounted it in the trunk many years ago. Still have the filler tube for looks but that's it. Now I can pull into the pump from any direction and also do not have to worry about any fuel spilling on the paint. And I do not need a sending unit as I can monitor the level in...

    Carb spacers

I run a 1" spacer on my Edelbrock Performer manifold with Edelbrock 600 CFM. Good throttle response. That was before I pulled my top end down. Should hopefully be better after I get my top end done.

Switching from Edelbrock 750 to 600 CFM

Carb was tuned when new 8 yrs ago. Just got too old to bother putting $ into it to rebuild. I have installed the 600 and I am very happy with it. Much better throttle response and the car idles better.

Switching from Edelbrock 750 to 600 CFM

The old 750 is getting tired and needs a complete rebuild and cleaning. The 600 I found on E Bay last year and got it for a nice price and is fairly new. Decided it was time for a change. If anyone out here needs a used 750 Eddy, make me an offer.

Switching from Edelbrock 750 to 600 CFM

I am switching out my 750CFM Edelbrock Carburetor to a Edelbrock 600 CFM. My question is.. What differences should I expect with a smaller CFM Carb? 340 punched out to .030 with Racepro Cam and Pistons. Edelbrock Performer Intake. Thanks.

How to fill up without getting it on the damn car?

I have a trunk mounted 15 Gallon fuel cell. No worries here I can just pop the trunk and open the cap and see how much gas I got. I don't even need a sending unit. I left the tube on the car for looks only. Nice thing is I can pull in to the pump from any direction. I get a lot of strange looks...

Damn Gas tank will not come down!!

I ended up losing the metal tank and installed a 15 Gallon Fuel Cell in the trunk. Left the tube in place so the cap could be there. Now it does not matter which side I pull into to pump the gas. I just pop open the trunk and fill er up!!

Running like crap when it's cold outside

When was the last tune up? What engine you running? How many miles on the motor? Could be several reasons as to why it's running like a dog. Make sure you have proper antifreeze levels and clean oil in the crankcase. Check the choke on the carb to make sure it is opening, check ignition timing...

gas guzzling 72 demon...kind of long sorry

I lost the steel tank and went with a 15 gallon fuel cell mounted in the trunk. Nice thing about the fuel cell is I can pull up to any pump and also just need to open the cap to check the fuel level. Another added benefit is that no one can siphon out any fuel. it is locked in the trunk...
