cool ,but with a r/b and raised port heads , I dont have room for that in my 68 barracuda , just ordered another rewire kit , it doesn`t use one , my existing one doesn`t either . I have a short that I cant find , so starting over again , only thing , I`m working on 78 yrs, now , everything...

like i posted tail ights are not 68 ...68`s have back up lights in them around the edges ...

sorry , but those are not 68 tail lights , maybe 69 ...?? i have a 68 for sale now , with the correct tail lights , and yours aren`t !!! the red mar the red that matches the tail lights was an up gade back then ....

I havent fallen into a black hole , I did fall/buy into a polaris rs1 , and have about lost all interest in the barracuda , as of now . Even thinking of selling it . Have torn rotator cuff in right shoulder , and u guessed it , I`m right handed .

500 pound springs are going to ride like a go cart, ask me how I know! I have a almost new pair of 300 pound springs when u get ready !

I disagree with the above posts , I had a new 383 form S in 1968, it handled very well , I remember running off from a hugger camaro of the day , in the ozarks , he couldn`t come close to keeping up with me !

I still think Bill Jenkins built the first one , to try to keep up w/ Sox-Martin . I read about nhra inspecting it as the first one , back then . All the others followed suit to keep up .

MOST ALL PEOPLE THINK THOSE ARE 1/8'' NPT , BUT , THAY ARE JUST A HAIR DIFF. THATS WHY SO MANY BRASS FITTINGS BREAK OFF , BEING OVERTIGHTENED .

ON MINE OFFSET SPRING HANGARS PUT THE SPRINGS DIRECTLY UNDER THE INNER WHEEL HOUSE EDGE , IF UR GOING TO PUT THE SPRINGS IN THE FRAME RAILS , U WOULD STILL HAVE THE SAME INNER CLEARANCE !

lol , same here , not dr. diffs offset stuff tho--differant wheels now --no currant pics, and springs have settled to tire being even w/ the top of the well 295 60 d15 front of fenderwells contoured to match inner fender panel

Wow , first time I`ve read of someone w/ the exact wheel backspace I use , tho mine are 8 1/2'' wide .
