    383 stroker thoughts

I built a 383/432 stroker for my ebody. Has way more torque than the 360 with headers that I took out. Makes that heavy car with 3.23 axle gears much more fun to drive. My 432 has mild ported 906 iron heads, iron exh manifolds, Edy DP4B intake manifold and cam one step up from stock...

    Wrecked the Valiant. Pictures here.

My 73 Duster had the front end pushed sideways like yours. Had the frame "straightened". Several years later both front frame rails started cracking right where the original damage/wrinkling occurred. In a few months the whole front end started coming apart. I was at a job out of state, to...

    power steering or manual

Vote for manual steering. Challenger had pwr steering. At highway speeds it was way too touchy, the slightest steering wheel movement would have you changing lanes. I didn't like it, nor did my wife. So manual is in there now...just be rolling a little and it is easy to steer / turn.

    Punked...Mopars are too expensive !!!

My wife used to have a 69 chevelle ss396. She looks at the money I've spent building a Mopar Ebody; she tells me I should have built a chevelle. Nice Camaro by the way.

    Kevco Oil Pan

Here is kevko pan for 360 V8 in Ebody. The bottom of the pan is 1/2 inch above the hemi skid plate that is welded to the underside of the K-frame. The engine dropped in from above with no clearance issues...even had the headers installed when lowering the engine. The pick up tube has a bracket...
