No one have an idea?

A mutual acquaintance of mine that lives about 20 miles SW of Raleigh NC either needs a good running slant 6 for his 69 Dart or a recommendation of someone in that area that's competent and reliable to rebuild his. Does anyone here have any suggestions for me to give to him? Thanks, Tracy

lol... I hear ya Del. I've been looking at motorcycles again and it's amazing how many people will take one or 2 pics of it from behind basically just showing the back fender and wheel stored in a cluttered up garage. Completely useless IMO

Unfortunately it's just a paper weight. Ring and pinions are matched sets. If you mix and match them they do not work. I learned that the hard way when I was a kid. Tried mixing and matching a ring/pinion set and it howled like a banshee

Have you tried ads on facebook? I see a lot of tires and wheels listed there. In fact I bought a nice set of 20" wheels and tires for winter use on my Ram R/T, (it has wide 22's that are completely useless in the snow) for a decent price from a guy about 25 miles from me

Me and a buddy have been using them for several years without a problem. We bought the best they had though. No taking chances

I've thought of that too and came up with a solution. I use my push broom to reach under the car to slide the stands out. Works like a charm

I don't know all the details except that a good friend and long time gearhead (75 yrs old) died last night as the result of someone speeding (cops estimate 75-80 mph at time of impact, 55 mph zone) and not paying any attention (no evidence they even hit the brakes before impact) hit my long time...

I hear ya on dropping the "Dodge". Should be a Dodge Ram. Nice truck. I have a 2011 R/T and love it. Even though it's still a 5 spd trans it has gobs of power
