    340 has no timing tab...

Whoever had it before me had it retarded a little too much so I timed it by ear for now. I will probably find top dead center in market and use a pointer on the driver's side. And either use timing tape or make marks or use a dial back timing light for now

1975 duster fuse block hold down pic needed

Next time you get a chance can you get me a picture of the back side of the thumb screw what it looks like? Is it threads? Is it a special way it locks into place with a quarter turn. Maybe a picture of the hole that it goes in? Thank you!

Not sure on that one. I have the bracket and it's hinged. I just don't have the thumb screw or whatever it uses to tighten it up

1975 duster fuse block hold down pic needed

It looks like that piece is made onto the thumb screw cuz when you turn it a quarter turn or half turn it has a u-shape cut out in the bracket that lets it slide past that piece and fold down

1975 duster fuse block hold down pic needed

I found these pictures but have no idea of what kind of plastic piece or thumb screw would be needed. It's not a big deal but it'd be cool to have it back like it was original

Do you know where to purchase one for the duster? I need to have the part that comes out of the bulkhead over to the starter relay

    6. Cylinder duster is now a 340 ignition issues wants to start when you let up on the key

One it had one on it like you have shown in a diagram. It come out of the bulkhead connector and had a plastic connector that went to another longer piece of red wire that went to the relay

    6. Cylinder duster is now a 340 ignition issues wants to start when you let up on the key

That is correct. Now I just have to find a fusible link like that above. Am I correct in thinking that if it's a 10 gauge wire you need a 14 gauge fusible link. And I thought I read somewhere that a fusible link should be no longer than 9 in. Is that correct?

    6. Cylinder duster is now a 340 ignition issues wants to start when you let up on the key

Here is an update. I took the dash back out. Replaced all the bulbs. Took the ant meter out and noticed that it wouldn't move. I found that the little needle that moves sweeps back and forth had somehow come out of its holder. I carefully put it back in the little divot in the holder and it...

    6. Cylinder duster is now a 340 ignition issues wants to start when you let up on the key

I figured it out mine had a black wire with a yellow tracer and a red wire coming off the back of the amp meter and it went through the bulkhead connector and the one has a fusible link that goes over to the starter relay and the other one goes over to the alternator where they're splics...

Mine goes up horizontal and swings on a hinge type bracket. It's got to be some kind of stud or bolt and nut or something that drops down through there

1975 duster fuse block hold down pic needed

What I've read is there should be some kind of a wing nut this one mounts to the underside of the dash and you take the nut off and it swings on a hands down so you can get to it and then it folds back up. My 66 had one with a screw in it
