To be honest I didn't notice any gains with the HEI set up,hoping to notice a small improvement with the E-3's indexed,also I like the built in rev limiter of the MSD.

So in reading some other posts on the msd E-core ready to run distributors the hook-up is to connect blue and brown ballast wires together,and then just pull control box wire plug off? or do you leave it on? will it hurt anything? I tried the HEI stuff and even bought the little mount for bottom...
