I am one of those who says save the car if you can. I have seen waaay to many nice cars parted simply because the person could make more in parts than selling as a whole. I have done just the opposite. I have sold a whole car way cheaper than I could have parted it because somebody wanted it...

Anybody who does that is an idiot and doesnt care about cars anyhow. When I am in yards, I am careful not to break anything when removing parts cause you never know what someone else may need.

I would give that serious thought first. Having the heater delete is cool and people think it is neat but when you are driving around and it is 45 degrees, it aint so much fun. I actually think when I restore the Valiant, I am going to add heat and a/c. Havent decided yet.

There was one here on craigslist last week. The guy posted it that morning and I sent him an email. It had already sold by that afternoon and it had a locked engine!

If you want to try a parts store, I would recommend NAPA. They carry a larger selection for older cars than the others. However, I dont think they will have it. But it is worth a shot. I plan to have mine recored because my tanks are in excellent condition.

I got mine from Laysons but they came through one of his distributors here in the Atlanta area. I have been thinking about buying a second set just to put away. That is IF I could still get them. I bought mine three years ago because I just had a feeling these would become hard to get.
