    look what followed me home

I am one of those who says save the car if you can. I have seen waaay to many nice cars parted simply because the person could make more in parts than selling as a whole. I have done just the opposite. I have sold a whole car way cheaper than I could have parted it because somebody wanted it...

    No Respect for Early-A's

Anybody who does that is an idiot and doesnt care about cars anyhow. When I am in yards, I am careful not to break anything when removing parts cause you never know what someone else may need.

    1965 heater delete panel??????

I would give that serious thought first. Having the heater delete is cool and people think it is neat but when you are driving around and it is 45 degrees, it aint so much fun. I actually think when I restore the Valiant, I am going to add heat and a/c. Havent decided yet.

    Almost started...not getting fuel

Does the car have gas in the tank? May sound stupid but my friend kept telling me his Charger wouldnt start. I told him to check the lines, etc but he was hard headed so he loaded it up and brought it to my house. The pump was pumping fine when I ran a hose to the can. I took the line loose...

315x60x15's on my 64 Dart GT

Speaking of tire sizes. If you have a metric size and want to know the height and width in inches, use this link. The only thing is you have to hit the reset after each size to clear it and start again. http://intercotire.com/help-article.php?article_id=7

Stolen 1962 Dodge Lancer Station Wagon DFW Texas

I wish you luck. Maybe if you got with the prosecutor and offered to go lenient if he turned the car over? I know I wouldnt want to do that but if it would get the car back... SinCe he got caught this fairly quickly, I assume he isnt a professional.

    POR15, undercoat, or sprayon bedliner?

I saw that stuff on Gearz. I had forgot about it til you mentioned it. Looked like some good stuff.

    POR15, undercoat, or sprayon bedliner?

Agreed. Especially if they plan to sell or trade the car in the future. I cant stand people who do that. it is like the people who prime the car then put it up for sale. I dont want something hidden under primer. I would rather know what I am starting with. As far this car. It is my baby and...

    POR15, undercoat, or sprayon bedliner?

The problem has been removed and replaced with fresh metal. Rust needs air exposure to continue. POR15 is not porous. That is why nothing will stick to it. Paint is porous and that is why rust will continue under the paint. My debate has been whether to use POR15 on the inside or just use...

    Radiators -- Champion or AutoZone

If you want to try a parts store, I would recommend NAPA. They carry a larger selection for older cars than the others. However, I dont think they will have it. But it is worth a shot. I plan to have mine recored because my tanks are in excellent condition.

66 Valiant wagon upper Tail light lenses

I got mine from Laysons but they came through one of his distributors here in the Atlanta area. I have been thinking about buying a second set just to put away. That is IF I could still get them. I bought mine three years ago because I just had a feeling these would become hard to get.

So I was losing brake fluid..

and it was the right rear wheel cylinder. I will find out if it is a "lifetime" warranty tomorrow. I had a heck of a time getting the brake drum off but I prevailed and the Valiant (Project Ex) will be ready for the local cruise in this weekend. Just thought I would post the picture for...
