everything is bushings, ball joints, tie rods, pitman and idler, steering box and thats all. maybe its an upper ball joint. i did have a new lower ball joint and it went bad even though it was new. maybe that trashed the other ball joint. the disc brakes are from a 73 duster.

no, i dont think so. ive gotten them from napa, advance auto parts, and rock auto, some of them are plews edelman brand. is not leaking from the inside of the seal its leaking from the outside of the seal

you know...im pretty sure my pump is from a 68 coronet. i had the 318 coronet engine laying around and used the water pump power steering and alternator........could that still be the cause....the autozone part numbers are different

i got a kit on line for my 69 box. This box was hard to rebuild and was not worth the time. special wrenches had to be used to get the large castle nuts off of the housing. and preloading an internal bearing was time consuming as the tool you need is a scale and piece of string to test...

does anyone know where i can find a tutorial on how to rebuild a steering box. i cant get the two large castle shaped bolts out. where can i get the special tool. people here tell me not to get one from a parts store......i cant really afford a firm feel one and the rebuild kit is $50.

I tried to oreder a steering box from autozone today for my 69 dart, but they were out of stock and cant get them right now due to no cores. I asked if he had one for a 74 duster, they have some in stock. Are these not the same box? My car has stock 69 power steering parts
