i swapped my rear end from an 8 1/4 to a dana 60 and am needing a new brake set up. i am wondering what i need to do both disc or drum brakes and what i can use thats already on my 72 demon. i already have a conversion done on the front and have a new master cylinder for it installed. the dana...

it is a 72 demon and from what i understand it was drum all the way around...the dana that the brakes are going on is not original and not in the car yet

you could send off the old hub to moser and have them make you new hubs...im not understanding what your meaning by a hub ring. i would deff call moser and ask what it would cost and seeing how it looks to be their axles see if they knew what part number they could give you to find a shelf part

if my 2.283 was right then those are drums from an amc...and that sounds really odd

i found drums for an amc....doesnt sound right but im pretty sure that he has redrilled sbp drums on it

yeah im looking into putting disk brakes on the back of mine and was told that if i use some ford parts it would be easy to buy parts later...just have to buy pads for a 92 ford....cant stand that idea lol

on the inner hub can you get an exact measurement...im not finding any hubs with the inner at 2.25...closest i see is 2.283

well my 8 1/4 has the 2.80 center 4.5 bolt pattern so that aint the answer

so just axles...the 8 3/4 has a drum set up and the 7 3/4 is disc so i would need the whole conversion or can i reuse rotors and calipers

ok i have an option to buy a complete 8 3/4 rear. it has everything including the 4 in bolt pattern. my demon already has been converted to the 4.5 bolt pattern but it has a 7 3/4 rear in it. what would i need to convert the 8 3/4 to 4.5...is there anything i can pull off the old 7 3/4 to make...
