I think the '56's were beautiful, the styling is not overdone...love the dash layout. If you look at the tail panel, you can see the new Chrysler 300 rear styling borrows from it.

Well the guy called ME back, guess he wasn't getting too many bites. Super nice 30-ish hippy, when I got there he said the car wouldn't start for him. Of course for me it started instantly lol! Decent car overall, no rust but all the stainless was hazy. I've never drove one of these so nothing...

Just a heads up because I know these are sought after and hard to find. It is a 4 door with 61k miles, red ext/red cloth, $2000. I don't know how to do links, but it's on Craigslist Atlanta and it looks to be in very nice condition.

I was going to say the same thing re: don't make any changes. You'd be looking for a very specific collector type who's going to be very picky about originality. I'm not sure about price, I imagine it wouldn't be a quick sale if you were holding out for more than $7-8k.
