stance pictures with espo spring stock and +1

Espo +1. It was more rake than I wanted, and changed the car's handling considerably. Espo was a great company to deal with.

    Steering is too responsive

Yes, Mopar power steering is known as being 'over-assisted' i.e. you can steer with your pinkie finger, but it shouldn't be 'twitchy' like you're describing. Like 6pak says it might be the steering box adjustment is too tight, which is simple to check. Or the alignment needs more caster. Both of...

If you can update us on what the reason turns out to be.

    Steering is too responsive

Could it be the steering box is adjusted too tight? There's a locknut you loosen then you use a big screwdriver and back it off a tiny bit. It may take a few test drives and trial and error with the adjustment till it's good. At least this is what I did on a '64 Fury after someone had tightened...

what other cars will work with mine?

I'm sure someone will reply. Meanwhile you might go to the "search" function, type in keyword "disc" and the options "show titles" and "show threads." Then you will see all the past threads. Disc swaps are a common topic. I'm not a tech but basically the choices are: Swap in a disc setup...

New rear leaf springs, Mopar, Espo, Eaton Detriot, or Hotchkis

ESPO. Many happy customers here at FABO, they really are a "mom and pop" small business. I got +1" regular-duty leafs and Laura made sure I got the right hardware, one phone call and I was set and their prices are great.

How do you tighten the steering up?

I'm no tech but if you have the box described above where you loosen the nut and then tighten using a big screwdriver...no more than 1/4 turn at a time and drive it after each adjustment (including taking it out on the highway) till you get it the way you want it.

    Alternatives/Suggestions Lack of power steering?

I believe you will get used to it and pretty soon you won't even think about it. With practice you will get the hang of not trying to turn the wheel when you're at a dead stop, instead, have the car moving just a little. Another idea, order a leather steering wheel cover online from Wheelskins...

    changed wheels, different feel?

The Cragars are considerably heavier from what I hear, I'm not knowledgable about wheels/handling but it makes sense that the extra weight would make a difference.

    The great debate

I went through the same debate and for me it didn't make sense to spend money on air shocks when in the long run they don't fix the problem.
