I use it on my dart street/strip car. Its a big block though.... anyway You go from valve cover to header collector with a hose. jegs sells the evacuation kit and its a weld on kit. Works great for me although my headers already had it like it was used at one time already, I had evacuation...

    way too much pressure

pistons from top and bottem are in good shape. There is some burnt oil in the centers but not an unusual amount for original pistons. I did a little more research and found this article and pulled this part. "If the PCV system is not functioning properly, the flow of crankcase vapor into the...

    way too much pressure

yah,Unfortunitly the leak down test i should have done before i tore it down is out of the question..... but from my understanding if there was that much pressure leaking through the rings to do this then i would have hear a miss or had a dead hole. and keep in mind with a hole in my pcv valve...

440 Source Big Block Alum. Cylinder heads

I bought a pair a while back but havnt installed them yet. I did alot of reasearch because i can only do it once on my budget. From what i found these heads are good for price and for a good 10-12 second car. In my opinion if your running a 8-9 second drag car you have enough into your car where...

    intake gasket.

ok well its a 440... but if paper gaskets are not neccecary then thats out of the way. the other problem is since the heads have the heat crossover blocked and only some intake gaskets say heat crossover blocked. just getting a little confused.

440 Source Big Block Alum. Cylinder heads

I bought a set... In general all mass produced aluminum heads should be checked out since every aspect isnt individually checked before you buy them. depending on how high lift of a cam you get you time want to get better springs and retainers and locks. Also get the valves checked. Most people...

    440 Source heads..any good???

im going through the same thing... the heads i have heard could use better hardware if your going with a higher cam,, like retainers, locks, springs and valve job many people with smaller cams, 500-510 or so i think are ok to bolt them on. im going with a 540 solid cam so i need to check clearence...
