Just wondering if all door lock knobs are the same for all of the "Abodies".Meaning like thread size which I believe is a #10-32 thread but want conformation.The reason I ask is I was thinking about making some made of 6061 Aluminum and selling them for anyone looking for that custom look.

I agree with Johnny if say you don't weld the holes up to par for the plater and they chrome it and later down the road somehow the plating doesn't hold up then they are going to blame you and you are going to blame them possibly....Just be careful Buying a different bumper might be an option...

I agree with what everyone else said too..I myself have owned my car for 10+ years and in those last 5 a new house and 2 beautiful little girls have come first so my dart has been on the back burner.I keep saying next year is the year to put some time and money into but I guess i will have to...

Just another suggestion is if you have a local company around that does anodizing and metal finishing like Black oxide and nickel plating they might be able to strip them for you too. Normally under Chrome plating there is nickel plating so I think a company that would do plating of any sort...
