    High flow exhaust Manifolds?

When I was looking for these manifolds a couple of years ago, I thought that the new ones were $599, but I could be wrong. I bought one by itself, drivers side, then found a passenger side with a broken bolt hole, the front. He had the piece broken, and I had Ostrich Racing weld it on...

    High flow exhaust Manifolds?

I can’t remember what the company’s name is, but there is a company in the Northwest, Seattle I think, that is making the 68-71 high performance 340 manifolds now. They are an exact copy of those. I, almost went with them, but was able to find a good stock set. Blast them, weld on ear on one of...

    ceramic coating header recommendation

Any brands or where to get this high heat thermal coating as used on tractors. I thought about the ceramic coatings, but couldn't find anyone that did this anymore, plus shipping exhaust manifolds, or headers is very expensive. Let me know if you know.

    67 A body driver side 340 manifold 2.25?

Does anyone other than TTi make the mid exhaust pipe? That's the pipe from the 340 exhaust manifolds back connecting to the 2 1/2" Pypes exhaust system.

    Reproduction 340 exhaust manifolds feedback

Thanks, I’ll keep looking. And keep me in mind if you see any. I did fin one with a broken off first bolt hole ear. But that’s been it.

    Reproduction 340 exhaust manifolds feedback

All that I’m looking for is a good passenger side 340 manifold. 68-70 style.

    Easiest headers to install?

Remembering Gary is a treat. I use to stop in to his shop there in Nevada, and he always had a word for me, like "What the hell do you want now?" We had that kind of relationship, usually I came back with, "Nothing that you can help with, that's for sure" or something like that. One day I had...

    Easiest headers to install?

Doesn’t seem like it was three years ago that Gary passed away, but early in February it is. Gary did face a 440 in a GTX, almost exactly like the one I had. We even did a trick on Gary with mine. Chuck and I that is. The cars were that similar. In 67, Chrysler said, to keep on their good side...

    Easiest headers to install?

Depends on the cam and the rest of the exhaust system.

    Tti headers

H How do guys like these shortie TTi headers? Fit, ease of install? Do you really have to use different trans linkage for the installation as they recommend?

    Easiest headers to install?

As this was suppose to be about easiest to install, and I guess the old 340 high performance manifolds would be the easiest, but I have to agree with several on this post to the TTi headers. Sure they are expensive, but in most cases you get what you pay for. For me, an LA motor in an A-body...

    Easiest headers to install?

Hey, I didn't use words like that to you. But what the heck, the guy was Gary Ostrich and I believe what he said was, "for what you want this Dart for, headers would only add more heat in the engine compartment and not give you more about 10 hp difference". That was after I did the porting on...

    Easiest headers to install?

I actually used 69 cast 340 exhaust manifolds, which by the way work pretty well, on a 340 with W-2 heads back 20 years ago. Worked just fine and the sound was awesome. I ground out the openings to fit the W-2 exhaust gasket. The guy that we sold it to said that there was virtually no...
