NEW Wheels for the Valiant - 18's

Very, very nice. I thought about 18" wheels when I got mine two years ago. I went more, almost like the 69 Recall Wheels though. Nice car. Not many Valiants at the shows. At our Des Moines GoodGuys Rod & Custom show.

Post your 17" wheel and tire combination

I finally preferred 215x50x17" on 17x7" Salt flat wheel front and 245x 50x17" for the rear. I think it'll give me a similar stance. My 69 Valiant doesn't have quite the room I the rear as your Duster has. I think that I'll be happy with these. Love the wheels

What size 17 in rim will work on 68 Dart Converitble?

I think that I'm sticking with a 50 series tire. I've been comparing what came stock on the stock high performance A bodies, and am trying to in that ballpark for the front at about 25 1/2" in height. That comes out with a 215x50x17 at 25.5". For the rear, I'm still looking at a 50 series tire...

What size 17 in rim will work on 68 Dart Converitble?

I'm in the same process with my 69 Valiant. What I have come up with is 17 x 7 for the front and 17 x 8 for the rear. Now for the tires Front: 205/45 or 205/50 and for the Rear: 245/45 or 245/50. I guess you can guess that I am fan of big and little tires. I just like the look. The Valiant...

18" Wheels post pictures of your mopar on 18" rims

That's my reasoning for wanting to go 17's front and 18's rear, but still want to keep the Vintage look.

Post your 17" wheel and tire combination

I've got just about the same question as you have here, except that in my situation, I have, or will have a 69 Valiant 2-door sedan, with 1/2" relocated rear springs, 73 spindle ( I think) with disc brakes. I've also got disc brakes on the rear. Right now I have some narrow Weld prospers on the...
