    Me too, with forged innards, that would be killer. Indy still offers a 5.7 turned into a 6.4 forged for $3795 with forged internals. Maybe they will do a 426" for $3995 without core beings as Mopar has new 6.1 blocks. That 6.4 is without a core charge, by the way. No core needed.

    Keep in mind also, AMS sells complete front floors, including the center transmission hump. As for the torsion bar crossmember, not that big of deal either. The T-56 looks the best to me too.

    One thing that this should do is bring down the prices of the seasoned, make that, used 6.1's that are now 5+ years old. Not that I'd turn down a nice 6.1 short block for a good price, but in the $1K range for a new, and probably improved, block, well let's do it.:violent1:

    2009+ 5.7 Hemi Eagle

    Get a 2009+ 5.7 that was for a 6-speed and it does not use the MDS. That would be my suggestion, although finding one may present a problem. Probably better off buying a NEW 6.4 for manual transmission. Could be cheaper in the long run.

    Hey guy, I like the color and would go that with my Lil Valiant, but the hot rod is close to a B-5 blue, so something else. What size tire and wheel is that? It looks good, plus remember they always settle when you put some power to it. I've followed your build, and you've done a fantastic job.

    It seems as there is better throttle response. There always seems like there is a lag there, something like a turbo lag. Also, more control with the gas pedal. Also, not having to have to use a special throttle pedal. Maybe it's my imagination, but that's just me.
