    I have seen them broken, to where they would make connection every now and then. When the 2 pieces touch each other going around a corner, or under torque. But your right, most of the time they won't work at all. It is something easy to check tho.

    Is your ground strap on your fuel line broken, Maybe making connection once and awhile? I know with the vent tube clogged, it made my car run lean, running out of gas.

    Well since I cleared the vent tube my gas filter is filling properly. I also tryed taking the gas cap off at first and that started the ball rolling. Now the filter stays full at idle. Thanks for the help guys, T.J.

Blew air thru the fuel line, all ok. set vacumn pump on line drawed gas up to fuel pump. still not the greatest. fuel filter barely fills up. I believe the return line is plugged.     I heard over the weekend that all 71 Dusters came with the 4 vacumn lines. My brother said his 71 340 duster had them, and that is how he told the difference between a 70 and a 71 model duster. ????? So maybe the 71 demon's were the same . I don't know for sure tho.

    I believe the carb is alright, It ran well with the 2 gallon tank on the fender. I can see the fuel filter, just is not filling like it did with the line stuck in the 2 gallon tank. looks like i am going to have to pull the tank and sending unit. HaaHHHHH.
