    I know on my 69 Dart the hole was all that was diffirent,larger for AC. You could just make a plate out of aluminum that would bolt to the inside of your firewall with a hole cut in the center to accept the smaller fan motor. You will have to drill new holes as well.

    Yeah phish I think Chief is onto it with that. I was thinking about this last nite. If you already have it out so be it but maybe try it with the first fix of the overflow to see if that does it. Sorry for any bad input. Noel

    I am leaning toward the cap as well. With it staying that way all night it sounds like a pressure issue. Mine would collapse under exceleration and was a bad hose. Try is with out the thermostat to see if that's the problem. You really should use one though. When you flush the coolant system...

    If they are both new you might have some interior blockage. Maybe some rust/crud has come free and clogged the thermostat. Have you tried a good engine/coolant flush?

    I have never heli coiled a intake Snake but have done alot of other things. If you can hold a drill straight you should have no problem.
