    steering pump

    i'm restoring a 76 swinger that came with a slant 6. I'm now putting in a 360 and the power steering pump and brackets off the /6 were exactly the same as the v-8 except for maybe the one small bracket that bolts to the timing chain cover.

    the 74-76 columns use two bolts and the 71-73 use three bolts to bolt it on the car. The 71-73 uses a plate which is bolted to the column by four bolts. I believe the bracket on the later ones are spot welded on. i can take a few pics if you'd like

    leaf spring question

    is there anyway to determine if leafsprings are wore out that are off the car? have a set from a 60,000 mile dart that i want to put in another dart. I'm on a strict budget and would rather throw in some new bushings, blast, and paint than buy new. any help would be great.
