there is the original hemi short shaft clutch fan or it's replacement but near impossible to find.I thought Hayden started producing a short shaft model for clearance problems. I have never had good luck with clutch fans, they have all been a problem or barely adequate at best.

yes..use a proper 7 blade mechanical or mopars' own flex fan.If your cooling is compromised you will surely over heat idling with the clutch fan...and when they fail it's no fun.

What is interchangeable ...or better yet what is not interchangeable between a 66' Dart or Valiant and a 67 -69' Dart? driveshaft..8 3/4 rear..front suspension/torsion bars..exhaust manifolds ('68 hi flo?)etc. Tx Guys.

i often wonder why guys put 160 degree thermostats in their engines.I think my '69 FSM lists a 195 degree thermostat for the slant six.

this is all good but your speedometer can be out quite a bit too. And that percentage changes with speed.Being out 4 mph at 50 may be 5 at 60. Use your gps for your different cruise speeds to check.

Plug and play...used to be called muscle car rad...looked original when painted satin black. The first one had big 1/2 " tig welds.The second one (3 yrs later) had tiny tig welds and was very nice. I must not have been the only one that complained. Expensive!

i have recored 2 340 radiators and they run 200 - 205 which is fine....there is just no wiggle room. i replaced both with newer 1 1/4" dual tube Griffins and temps only reach 190 when idling.

i don't have a picture but with the later large lower ball joint in your hand their is an obvious round knob cast in the back of the steering arm.It is correct for later cars but interferes with the earlier A body lower control arm and limits / shortens the turning radius.

i removed about 1/4" off the '73 up lower disc brake ball joint stop to gain more turning radius. it's a worthwhile modification.
