it was the viton,it was not line honed.i used the magnum 1 piece oil pan gasket,,cut the front off and used the front from a la oil pan with a little black silicon where they overlap.this gasket will not let you overtorque it .

yes i know its harder,but im not pulling the engine.i know what comes off,but i need the proper way to install gaskets,seal cork to block ect,ect.i need the sure fire way as im not doing it again.i would even go with the right stuff instead of gaskets if it will work on 360 small block.nor...

69,it went in tight,so it probable did cut its own thread.it snugged down.at that point and left it alone

yes,pulled out the coil and used a bolt the fit the thread
