Need Help finding/figuring out half dead fuse box problem

I will take a look at all the ideas that you folks have suggested. Yes it does have the dreaded seat belt interlock and I will take care of that first. Unfortunately this car has been hacked to death. Previous owners weren't very kind to it. I have found several wire nuts under the dash holding...

Need Help finding/figuring out half dead fuse box problem

Currently I'm helping out a friend working on a 74 Challenger. I realize it isn't an A body but I'm sure the wiring is about the same on most Mopars. The car will function just fine part of the time but out the blue it will not even turn over. The dash gauges won't register at all. The head...

New adjustable distributor with wifi smartphone tuning and vacuum advance/ boost control.

Looks like a sweet way to go. Price isn't bad when you consider what you don't have to buy. Think how well it would work in a dual purpose machine. Race tune then street tune all from your phone.

    Tach Problems

When I adjust the brightness of my dash lights using the headlight switch it makes my tach drop off. As an example with the dash lights low it works fine but if you turn them up so you can see the gauges better at night the tach drops to zero. Wondering what I've done wrong. Thanks Jeff

Do I have to Run the Newer Alternator and regulator

I purchased a new wiring harness from Year One for my 68 Dart. It is setup for electronic ignition and the 2 field alternator and electronic voltage regulator. Can I do anything to it to allow me to run my old round back single field alternator and regulator or just upgrade to the newer style...

Alternator Not Charging After Changing Wiper Motor

The blue wire was tied into the wiper wiring harness. Don't know why? Perhaps it was providing power to the wipers. I didn't do the electronic ignition upgrade.

Alternator Not Charging After Changing Wiper Motor

Shows battery voltage on the alternator stud while running. It's just the stock alternator. I moved some wires around getting the wiper plug off the bulkhead, maybe something stiff and brittle snapped there.

Alternator Not Charging After Changing Wiper Motor

I didn't unhook any wires from the regulator. The alternator is a round back and the voltage regulator is an electronic unit inside the old type housing for the correct look. The alternator checked good at the parts store.

Alternator Not Charging After Changing Wiper Motor

Been on vacation this week and have been doing small upgrades and improvements to my 68 Dart GTS. Today I decided to change out the wiper motor. 68 dart side marker connector

I think you can buy that type of connector at NAPA or where ever. It comes as loop and you just cut it and adapt it to your wiring. Those gm weather packs are nice too.

Try running the light off another battery, not the one in the car. Or purchase a self -powered timing light. It seems the MSD system interfers with the reading.
