    Replacing Rear Quarter Panel

I'm replacing the driver's side quarter panel on a 68 dart. There is a little L shaped piece that goes in the bottom corner of the back glass . My question is does it go on top or underneath the quarter? I've tried it both ways. Thanks Jeff

67-76 Right Hand Mirror Dynacorn - Opinions

I put a right side mirror on my dart. Like someone said before the driver can't see anything out of it. Where you have to mount it, it interferes with the wing window.

    Wrong DA?

Any of you ever stripped the paint off with a straight edge razor blade? Just get the blade under it and start stripping it off. However I would sure like to try one of those Eastwood machines.

Gluing Quarter Panels On vs. Welding

I talked to my body guy about the very same thing. He has a medium sized shop and lots of certifications for himself and the entire staff. He suggested to still put some small welds along the length of the panel. He has been in the biz for 30 years.

    hood hinges

Simple if the fenders are off. Other wise you need to remove the inner fenders to gain access. They are on the back side of the fender. Most likely the panel will be covered with undercoating. Use a bar to reach back there and pry the hinges off the pins. When you put the lock washers back on...

Hemiorangeswinger. Yes that helps a bunch. I wondered where to cut at on the sides of the cowl. Did you run a brace between the two sides to keep them square? Thanks Jeff

Cowl Rust! What is the best way to fix it?

Working on my 68 dart redoing some really bad repairs, I'm sure it was done to the best of someone's ability but know we have replacement sheet metal. I knew I had a little rust on the bottom of the cowl but didn't realise it was this bad. Well of course I did use a small hammer to see how...

    Cowl (sealing)

Eastwood sells a product for rust proofing inside frame rails and such. It comes with an extension hose and the nozzle fans it out 360 degrees. You would want to tape any places you don't want it coming thru. If your careful it might be what your looking for.
