The question I have is about how it shifts. I am very used to the modern transmissions and how well they shift, especially with short throw shifters. How does the Passon 5 speed compare to modern transmission shifting and throw? Does it still feel like a muscle car transmission?

I am getting ready to pull a 904 transmission out of my car and was wondering if the drive shaft is a slip yoke design which will just slide out of the tail shaft? Or, do I need to separate the u-joint? Thanks, Jeff
